Earlier this year Microsoft announced the Holo Lens. Today at their E3 Press Briefing, they showed off a new impressive demo showing off the potential for the Holo Lens. The demo used Minecraft to show off the Holo Lens.
Besides being able to play with the controller and his hands, there is also the option to control it with his voice. This adds depth, like you are in the game. A second player was able to jump in without the Holo Lens. The second player got direction from the main player with the Holo Lens, who could see things that the other can’t.
Implications for the Holo Lens seems endless. It will run with Windows 10 when it launches at an unspecified date. More of the Minecraft demo using Holo Lens will be shown at Minecon later this year.
