However, not many fans have been so thrilled with the announcement of Amiibo Festival, with many saying that the game is merely a rip-off of Mario Party.
Nice! “A Mario Party” #AnimalCrossing game. Still hoping for an AC #wiiu annoucement though #NintendoE3 https://t.co/XUIliT77Ll — Lamour Lapin (@lamourlapin) June 16, 2015
It’s like Nintendo is taking all the games I wanted to see at E3 and turning them into something I don’t want… #metroid #animalcrossing

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer will see you use amiibo cards to scan characters in, who’ll then make special home design requests for you to meet. Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is set to be released on September 25 in many parts of the world, and a week later on October 2 in other areas. Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival will release holiday 2015 and is a board game that is an expanded version of the Amiibo Party mode of Mario Party 10. Amiibo are required to play the game.
