No Man’s Sky  PlayStation exclusive was shown off at Sony’s E3 press conference.  What was shown of No Man’s Sky has much potential for the future of gaming.

During the demo, the presenter showed that No Man’s Sky has a never-ending galaxy to explore.  The planets and solar systems are randomly generated so no place is the same.  Going even further to showcase this, two areas of space were shown including a new planet that players might or might not come across when the game releases.

On the planet, players were shown ways to use beacons to find resources that you will need to survive and go through each solar system.  Each planet in No Man’s Sky though is protected by robot guardians to prevent you from “destroying” the planet and take it’s resources.

No Man's Sky
You can and will be attacked for trying to take resources.

Announced back at the 2013 VGA Awards, No Man’s Sky has yet to receive a release date, but expect to hear something at GamesCom later this summer.
