Total-Warhammer, I guess it’ll be all over Reddit today after this was joked on stage. Total War: Warhammer is latest installment on the coming soon bandwagon from Creative Assembly, in collaboration with Games Workshop.
The role playing game meeting the grand scale war genre will be an interesting splice, one that has been attempted before, but I would never imagine to this magnitude. Two of my favourite franchises coming together to create a love child that will no doubt put all critics like myself in our place, as it demonstrates that a war game can have the sense of depth of a tabletop role playing game.
“We can do things that we’ve never been able to do before, and now we can do things that we’ve always wanted to do.” Said a Creative Assembly representative. “We plan to have massively deep skill trees to fully explore the depth of these characters, so that we can be faithful to the fantasy role playing genre.”
We expect to see Total War: Warhammer get a release in 2016, but I guess I’ll need a new PC to run the game since recent Creative Assembly releases have pushed my computer to its limits. Please let me be able to play this!
