EA has just announced a boatload of Star Wars games that are being worked on by multiple companies and set to release in the years to come. EA did talk about the Star Wars games that a currently live such as Galaxy of Heroes, The Old Republic and Battlefront. These games will continue to get fresh new content.
EA also announced that next year we will get an all new Battlefront led by DICE in collaboration with Motive. The new game will build on the foundation from the first one and will also include content from the recently released films. While it was not announced during this conference, it is rumored that next years Battlefront will include a single player campaign.
Two additional games were also announced but little details were given about the projects. In 2018 Visceral Games will be releasing their new Star Wars action adventure game which will have an original narrative and all new characters. Beyond that, Respawn Entertainment is working on a Star Wars game that will be set in a different era and play in the third person.
The trailer shown is a peek behind the curtain of what is to come in future titles but one of the coolest things looks like an X-Wing VR experience.
