New at E3 2016, Nintendo and Niantic have gathered to talk Pokemon. During the session, it was shown that, as previously announced, trainers would encounter different monsters depending on their real-world location. Also revealed was the ability to evolve captured Pokemon and, eventually, to trade them. Though the mobile game will at first only feature the first 150, eventually Niantic hopes to include all of them.
The Pokemon GO Plus accessory will allow users to encounter and capture creatures without having to bury their noses in their phones, as Niantic hopes people will get outside and go on adventures as they search for Pokemon. Special events will be held occasionally, such as the one shown in the trailer where a massive crowd battled together in order to defeat and capture the legendary Mewtwo.
No release date has yet been announced for GO, but Niantic is hard at work putting the finishing touches on the game.
