During EA’s conference yesterday at E3 2017, Bioware released a teaser trailer for their new title, Anthem. The original trailer did not reveal much information, but a full gameplay reveal was shown during Microsoft’s conference earlier today. Anthem is an open world adventure set in a post-apocalyptic setting. The jungles and environments are filled with creatures that you can choose to avoid or attack head on. You won’t have to face these creatures alone though; your friends can -and should- help you out.
Mostly, the trailer focused on revealing information on the different types of mech suits, called javelins, that will be available to use. Each suit comes with its own set of abilities and advantages and also aid in how you move through the world. Whether flying high above the treetops, diving into a river for safety, or moving quickly on foot, these suits look like the ultimate asset.
As of right now, the game has a release window of sometime during the fall of 2018.
