In EA’s E3 2017 conference earlier today, Bioware announced their newest project entitled Anthem with a teaser trailer. Little information was given about the newest title from the creators of the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series; however, they promised that we would receive more information and a gameplay reveal of the game live during Microsoft’s E3 conference on Sunday, June 11th at 5 PM EDT. More than likely, we will see some actual gameplay featured on the Scorpio.
While this is new content for Bioware, Anthem, rumored to be under the working title “Dylan”, has been in development for years. From what we can see in the trailer provided, it looks like it will take place in a futuristic world with massive, alien creatures and full body mecha suits. Do I really even need to say more? We will have to patiently wait until Microsoft’s conference before we can see what the game is really like, but, as of right now, it feels like it might be a mix of Horizon Zero Dawn and Destiny. This new title from Bioware will more than likely release in the middle of 2018.
E3 is only beginning and there is still plenty to see! Conferences begin today and will continue on through Wednesday. For a full schedule, check it out here! As always, The Nerd Stash will be covering the conferences live, so stay with us for all of the biggest gaming news.
