Although South Park: The Fractured But Whole is Ubisoft’s big hitter from the quiet mountain town, their E3 conference had another surprise from the minds of Trey Parker and Matt Stone, entitled South Park: Phone Destroyer. Details are scarce on the mobile game, but it looks like it has the trademark tasteless South Park humor with a fairly hefty battle system to boot. Check out the awesome trailer below:

South Park: Phone Destroyerâ„¢ | E3 2017 Official Reveal Trailer

South Park: Phone Destroyer claims to feature real time strategy combined with collectible cards as its central gameplay mechanics. Judging from the trailer, it looks like players will assemble teams of a huge variety of South Park characters, combining them in unique ways to participate in PvP battles. My favorite has to be Butters as the angry choirboy.

It appears as if South Park: Phone Destroyer will feature some serious metahumor; the player, just like in The Stick of Truth, again takes control of the nameless “new kid,” and Cartman tells them to remember to bring their phone. From the gameplay footage, the in-game characters all appear to be playing some sort of game on their own phones., which definitely showcases the self aware humor that South Park fans have grown used to.

Even though we do not know a ton of details yet on this upcoming mobile game, we do have a few details on the release date and platforms it will be available on. It is coming to both Android and iPhone, and will release at some point this year. Stay tuned to the Nerd Stash as more details on South Park: Phone Destroyer become available.

What do you want to see from the upcoming South Park mobile game? Is it possible you are more excited for this than its big brother RPG, The Fractured But Whole? Let us know in the comments below.
