Buried in its E3 conference today, Square Enix gave us one last look at the upcoming JRPG, Octopath Traveler ahead of its release on the Nintendo Switch next month. The trailer only clocks in at 30 seconds, and doesn’t give us much new information, but it is worth checking out for its stylish old-school JRPG look and feel alone. Check it out below.
As you can see in the trailer the planned release date for Octopath Traveler is July 13th, which is quickly approaching. The game had a previous demo/beta stage that had nearly 50,000 participates. The main reported issues with the game were its slow speed and some problems with the game’s textures. Using this feedback, Square Enix has reportedly resolved these issues and the game runs faster and looks better as a result. We will update you with any new details that emerge ahead of the game’s launch next month.
