EA has announced a date for its annual EA Play Live event.

This year’s EA Play Live will be an all-digital experience and it’ll start at 7 PM ET on June 11th. The event will feature the usual game announcements and reveals people have come to expect from these EA Play shows. We don’t know EA’s full lineup yet but we can guess that we’ll get more info on the upcoming sports game releases from the publisher. Such titles include the latest Madden, NHL, and FIFA games. With Battlefield V and Star Wars: Battlefront 2 both recently wrapping up their content update cycles, there could be a chance we see something fresh from either of those franchises as well.

Other Digital Events Happening This Year

EA Play Live is not the only digital event happening this year. Industry veteran and The Game Awards founder Geoff Keighley is hosting an event called Summer Game Fest to help fill the void left by E3 2020’s cancelation. This festival will take place from May-August and it’ll cover a plethora of various digital gaming events. A lot of the events you’ll see announced over the coming weeks, including EA Play Live, will likely be under this Summer Game Fest banner.

Xbox and Steam also have digital showcases planned over the next few weeks. For Xbox, that event is happening on May 7th and we’ll finally get to see some next-gen gameplay from the Xbox Series X. Steam will hold a Steam Game Festival that’ll take place from June 9th-14th.

Are you excited for EA Play Live? What games do you want to see EA announce this year? Do you think we’ll see a new Battlefield? Let us know in the comments below. Also, be sure to tune into The Nerd Stash for the latest in gaming, movies, TV, and more.
