It’s a good time for Microsoft to get the ball rolling on gameplay reveals since the console is slated for a general release window of “late 2020”. The year is going fast and time is getting short, so now is a good opportunity for you to get a look at the power of the machine before you decide which next-gen console to buy.
Many of the console’s features were thought to be revealed at the 2020 Game Developers’ Conference and E3 2020 – but as we all know, the Coronavirus had other plans and the events in question were canceled alongside the unveiling of the console’s hardware specs.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, the company hopes to ship Xbox Series X by the end of the year, although they are monitoring supply chains and the safety of their workers all the while.
