Herbs like Scarlet Calamus and Yellow Lotus are critical materials in the world of Once Human. They can heal both your Sanity and Thirst when used to make special drinks like Fruit Tea or Whimsical Drink. More importantly, Scarlet Calamus is needed for making Breeding Boost Fertilizers which helps you gain more seeds with each harvest. As both can be easily found in the same place, our guide will help you find the best location to farm them.

The best spot to harvest and farm Scarlet Calamus and Yellow Lotus is at around -1061, -7458 coordinates of Chalk Peak. Both of them spawn in the swampy seafront, southwest of Rotten Saddle, a Level 35 Rift Anchor area.

After you drive past the bridge, quickly take a left turn towards the sea following the river. At the edge of the land, you should start seeing crops of Scarlet Calamuses. For Yellow Lotus, keep going south and swim to the small islands, the plant appears in abundance there.

While the water is filled with Scarlet Calamus and Yellow Lotus, the surrounding Once Human landmass is also rich in minerals. You can easily find lots of Aluminum, Tin, and Sulfur around the area or in the forest as you approach the sea.

Chalk Peak and other high-leveled zones are made accessible once Phase 2: Tame the Staroid is unlocked for your server. But, in case Mitsuko still tells you to turn around, try reaching Level 20 and clearing the Gaia Cliff Monolith. You might have to complete story-related missions or other stuff first before you can access the area.
