Echocalypse Scarlet Covenant: Characters Tier List for 2023
First of all, our Echocalypse Scarlet Covenant tier list is divided into 5 tiers:
- S+ tier characters have unconditional priority. The abilities of these characters allow them to show excellent results in PVE and PVP modes. They can easily synergize with other characters or carry any fights alone.
- S-tier characters are extremely strong. Although they do have one or two shortcomings that make them barely able to compete with the S+ category.
- A-tier units are quite decent, but they are simply outclassed by better characters. Their uses are mostly niche and excel in specific conditions only.
- B-tier units can still be viable in battles. But they don’t add much to the team or you need specific conditions when utilizing them.
- C-tier characters are too niche, too complicated, and/or completely outclassed by other units.

The Best Characters in Echocalypse Scarlet Covenant According to The Tier List
Below are the short explanations for why we put each unit into different categories.
S+ Tier Characters: Best Echocalpyse Units List
- Audrey: Inarguably the best healer-support unit in the game. She doesn’t just heal, but also her auto-attack can Silence enemies and she gives 50% +2 Rage on skill use. This means, her skill easily snowballs, giving you a huge advantage during Abyssal Dive. But make no mistake, outside of Abyssal Dive, she’s still an extremely potent and versatile unit that can blend in in various modes.
- Deena: The second-best healer unit in Echocalypse Scarlet Covenant with a very unique kit. As a single-target Sub-DPS-slash-healer, Deena restores health by 170% of her attack and 5% of her max HP. That means, the better her damage build is, the more effective her healing will be.
- Pan Pan: If you’re looking for a tanker, then Pan Pan is your partner. She can put up a shield taken from 10% HP, give blocking debuffs to teammates, and dish out ATK debuffs. With a proper setup, you can clear out missions with 0 damage taken. As you can expect, her shielding prowess stands out in PvP matches.
- Aiken: An upcoming character in the Echocalypse tier list. But will be amazing according to CN and SEA versions.
S Tier Characters
- Fenriru: Just because a character is F2P-friendly doesn’t mean she can’t sit with the big girls. She can deal 100% True Damage at random targets when using Ultimate. Not to mention that Fenriru gets a stats buff with each odd round. As a crowd control unit, she’s one of the best you can use for your team.
- Firentia: Burn is the current meta, this makes Firentia quite essential to such a team. She has a 30% chance to transfer status effect or debuff at an attacking target. Meanwhile her Ultimate deals Physical damage and can inflict burn at front-row enemies. As a Main DPS, her skills can quickly ramp up your team’s Burn damage during battles.
- Main Character (Male/Female): Good DPS that’s elevated by their ability to Stun enemies. Not much else to say, just a solid unit that you’ll always have when starting the game.
- Nephthys: Outclassed by S+ tier healers, Nephthys can dish out area-of-effect healing and has a unique auto-heal function. She synergizes well with Deena. Both can keep the DPS and tanks alive while removing debuffs and status effects.
- Niz: One of your main choices if you want to make a Freeze team. Niz’s Ultimate can quickly apply and spread Freeze among enemies’ positions. As you expect, she is effectively paired with Yulia.
- Shiyu: Like Firentia, Shiyu is currently considered S-tier thanks to the Burn meta. Even though she mostly works as a tank, she can consistently apply area-of-effect Burn. Shiyu can also revive teammates, adding additional survivability options
- Yulia: Slightly overshadowed by Shiyu in the current meta. But outside of the popular pick right now, Yulia is a much more versatile tank. She is self-sustaining since she can absorb 5% of the damage dealt. She can Taunt enemies to deaggro them from weaker teammates. Yulia can also create a shield by attacking enemies inflicted with Freeze, which could be crucial in any game mode.
- Horus: Another upcoming character. Will have a lot of synergy with various teams.
A Tier Characters: Best Echocalpyse Units List
- Regina: A flexible support that works well everywhere thanks to her Rage control. She can also inflict Armor Break with her Ultimate.
- Nightingale: A strong DPS that can lower enemies’ Crit Rate. Both of her single-target and area-of-effect kits are pretty great. The single target deals 114% Magic Damage. Meanwhile, her random attack can inflict Silence. Her passive also synergizes well with Winno by giving Dodge to the teammates.
- Raeon: Raeon is a pretty great DPS. She can deal 63% physical damage to front-row enemies with a 50% chance to apply Burn. Her Ultimate and passive can even deal additional devastating damage at Burned enemies.
- Vivi: Your backup support unit if you don’t have someone like Audrey yet. She attacks the strongest enemies while protecting your weakest unit. A strong character for this Echocalypse tier list if you can balance how a battle will play out.
- Zawa: As a debuffer, she can apply Blind and Accuracy Down to cripple multiple enemies. Not exactly the best choice for support, but can be put in various team compositions.
B Tier Characters: Best Echocalpyse Units List
- Camelia: An okay DPS, but completely outclassed by better characters in other Echocalypse tier lists. Still, her drain, counter, and debuff can be utilized for good use.
- Garula: A tanker that can reflect enemy damage and take their healing skills. Sounds decent enough, but unfortunately Garula’s abilities do not excel in any specific situation or area.
- Set: A pretty strong DPS. Set’s main strength is her attacks have a 50% chance of Armor Break. Her Ultimate, on the other hand, applies Bleed. Other than that, she will need some support to keep going, but she’s good enough for offense and defense. Pair her with Regina and Taweret to maximize their potential.
- Stara: Build up her Mirror Flower, and she can deal an extra 50% damage to front-row enemies with Rage. She also supports her teammates at the start of a battle with a bonus 10% Crit Rate. Not amazing or anything, but she can stand on her own in many team variations.
- Taweret: A single-target DPS that can inflict Bleed. Her Ultimate can deal up to 150% damage at debuffed single-row enemies. Not really spectacular without proper team composition or build.
- Mori: An upcoming character that could perform single-target well in Host Purification. Let’s see if she stays in the Echocalypse B tier list once she drops into the global server.
C Tier Characters
- Baphomet: Damages front-row enemies and buffs up fellow teammates’ armor and resistance. Her Ultimate absorbs 18% of her max HP and then turns into damage to all enemies. Unfortunately, the damage actually only takes half of the 18%, making her kit feel lackluster and clunky.
- Bastet: Visually, she seems to be a fan favorite. It’s a shame that her kit is just very bland. At least she kind of works as a Kiki counter in PvP.
- Beam: DPS-support that can deal huge Physical Damage at enemies in one row. Her attack inflicts 200% of her current armor and resistance. Yep, that means it scales with buffs from her fellow support teammates. Nevertheless, that makes her team composition to be rather gimmicky and weak.
- Kiki: Kiki is an independent girl that does not need a fixed team. She can lower enemies’ Defense and Crit Resistance. Her Ultimate is quite devastating too, inflicting 250% of Magic Damage to a random row of enemies. But, Kiki’s full potential will only open up after a considerable investment and at full health. Definitely not a character that’s fast and easy to build.
- Wadjet: Wadjet’s main feature is she can Mummified enemies. Which removes enemies’ basic attacks into single-target Dry Claws and skill into Sand Burial. An attack that damages front-row party members. Pretty unique but ultimately too gimmicky.
