With such games as International Superstar Soccer, Winning Eleven, Pro Evolution Soccer, and eFootball, Konami has always been at the top when it comes to football games, garnering millions of fans worldwide through years of tough competition with EA. Although there have been radical (and divisive) changes to its flagship game in recent years, this does not tarnish the past, and Konami is celebrating many years of football video gaming today. The publisher has even gone so far as to officially title this particular 28th Anniversary celebration. Named the eFootball Festival, there are bonuses, themed events, and much more will be offered to eFootball 2023 players. Let’s break it all down.
eFootball Festival Brings Many Bonuses, Events, and Objectives
As mentioned, Konami launched a celebration today to mark its 28th year in football games. The 28th Anniversary celebration took the form of an eFootball Festival, which will be held from June 29 to July 27. eFootball 2023 players will be able to enjoy tons of privileges. Co-op mode, which was beta tested from June 8 to June 22, returns today, allowing players to connect online once again and take the game on with other users from all over the world. Also, an in-game campaign related to co-op will be held on July 13, and players will get various rewards when they dive into a certain number of games.
During the celebration period, eFootball 2023 players will experience the Legend Challenge Event, where they will have a tough fight with the champions of Europe’s leading leagues, such as Napoli and Barcelona. In addition, The Golden Goal Challenge Event, which refers to the Golden Goal rule removed by FIFA in 2004, will take players on a short trip to the past. During the 4-week celebration period, folks are able to claim various rewards, including Epic Players, Show time contracts, a potential total of 440,000 GP, and 200 Coins. Konami wishes players lots of fun celebrating the 28th Anniversary.
