How to Defeat the Sleeping Dragon in Elden Ring
The Sleeping Dragon is located outside of Fort Faroth in the Caelid region on the east side of Limgrave. You can use Torrent to ride there if you have already been to Caelid before. Suppose you are not powerful enough yet; head over from Limgrave and ride past the enemies.
There is also a shortcut that involves an easy boss in Limgrave. Firstly kill the Tibia Mariner in Summonwater Village in northern Limgrave, which will award you with a Deathroot. After that, you can speak to an NPC named D, that will offer you an introduction to Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman. Accepting this offer will unlock a teleport nearby that will send you to the Bestial Sanctum in Caelid.
After you arrive at the Bestial Sanctum, unlock the Site of Grace once you get inside. After that, use Torrent to reach the Farum Greatbridge. Continue across the bridge and don’t engage in a fight with Flying Dragon Greyll and Putrid Avatar by the Minor Erdtree. Use the Spirit Spring near the Erdtree.
After you launch yourself into the air with Spirit Spring, you can see the Forth Faroth. Once you arrive at Fort Faroth, activate the Site of Grace outside, and next to it, you can see the Sleeping Dragon.

Surprisingly, killing the Dragon is not that hard. The trick of killing the dragon is not to hit the head of the dragon. If you don’t attack its head, the dragon won’t engage in a fight. The Sleeping Dragon also has a weakness for Bleed damage, so use it if you have. After killing the dragon, you will receive 74,000 Runs and 5 Dragon Hearts.
