There are several legendary sorceries and incantations that can be found in Elden Ring, with each one needing a specific way of unlocking. One such sorcery is Comet Azur, a powerful spell with more than a passing resemblance to a Kamehameha from Dragon Ball. This is a constant stream of magical energy, one of the game’s strongest spells, and is a welcome addition to any build focusing on magic. This guide will explain where to find and how to get the Comet Azur sorcery in Elden Ring.

(Updated on August 8, 2024 – Clarified guide steps and updated links).

How To Get The Comet Azur Sorcery In Elden Ring

You will find the Comet Azur sorcery in the northwestern part of the map in the region called Mt. Gelmir. You will need to pass through the Altus Plateau to reach this area, which has a few routes to reach. You can go up through the pass the Caria Manor or use the Dectus Medallion to use the Lift of Dectus. Either way, you are going to head towards the northwest towards the big volcano. You are looking for Primeval Sorcerer Azur, who will give you the sorcery. You should eventually find yourself in a ravine that takes you all the way to a fortress named Fort Laiedd. From the fort, go to the left, and you will find a lake of lava that will spawn a Magma Wyrm. Ride past this area and continue through this area past the Hermit’s Shack and the Craftman’s Shack and through the Hermit Village.

Once you get past the Hermit Village, you will come upon a mini-boss called Demi-Human Queen Maggie. Just past them is a Site of Grace, and next to the Site of Grace is the Primeval Sorcerer Azur. Walk up to the NPC and interact with him. He won’t say anything, but he will give you the Comet Azur sorcery. Comet Azur requires 60 Intelligence and takes up three Memory Slots. To equip it, go to a Site of Grace and go to the “Memorize Spell” tab. From here, simply select the legendary sorcery, and you will be able to use it, given you have the stats for it.
