One of the first great roadblocks that players will likely come across in Elden Ring is Margit, The Fell Omen. This boss returns later in the game as his true form: Morgott, The Omen King, the Shardbearer found within Leyndell, the Royal Capital of The Lands Between. He is stronger in every way, even getting a new weapon. This weapon is Morgott’s Cursed Sword. Players that want to get this great curved sword will be able to once the boss is defeated.  This guide will explain to players how to get Morgott’s Cursed Sword in Elden Ring.

How To Get Morgott’s Cursed Sword In Elden Ring

Both Leyndell and the Morgott boss fight are things will be forced to take on to complete in the game. There are a few ways to enter the Capital, including a teleporter found in Deeproots Depths at the location where you finish Fia’s quest and a more straightforward path that sees you needing to defeat a Draconic Tree Sentinel at the northeast part of the Capital Outskirts to gain access to the City of Gold. Make your way through the zone until you reach the Elden Throne at the base of the Erdtree. You will need to climb the corpse of the great dragon that overlooks the city to reach the Erdtree Sanctuary where you will fight the Golden version of Godfrey, First Elden Lord. Beyond this area, you will need to climb a branch up to a platform above where you fought Godfrey and make your way to the Queen’s Bedchamber Site of Grace, which has a staircase leading up to the Elden Throne, where you will find Morgott, The Omen King.

Upon defeating Morgott, players will be given his Great Rune as well as his Remembrance, which is called Remembrance of the Omen King. Major bosses in Elden Ring provide you with a Remembrance that can be traded at the Roundtable Hold for a unique spell or weapon that relates to the given boss. The options you get with the Remembrance of the Omen King are the Regal Omen Bairn item and Morgott’s Cursed Sword. Return to the Hold and talk to Finger Reader Enia, who sits next to the Two Fingers. You can then trade your Remembrance of the Omen King for Morgott’s Cursed Sword.

Elden Ring is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
