Many fans of the series will know about the benefits of exploring every inch of Elden Ring since much of the game is skippable. Gamers who search for every secret can discover some potent weapons. For instance, the Godskin Peeler is one of the most powerful twin blade weapons in the game and already comes with a powerful skill as well. However, there are many obstacles in the way before fans are able to get their reward. So for players looking to try their hands at this behemoth, here is how to get the Godskin Peeler in Elden Ring.

Where to find the Godskin Peeler in Elden Ring

Windmill Village

Elden Ring Godskin Peeler Location

For the first step on how to get the Godskin Peeler in Elden Ring, gamers will need to travel to a little village in the northern section of Atlas Plateau called “Windmill Village.”  To unlock this section of the game, players will need to activate the Grand Lift of Dectus. After this, they can take the small road around the capital.

Once here, players can either ignore the NPCs or fight them for extra ruins. Just know they will become extremely aggressive and potentially thwart the upcoming boss fight. So follow the stone stairs to the top part of the city with the windmills to fight the upcoming boss.

Godskin Apostle

Armed with the very weapon fans are looking for, the Godskin Apostle is skilled in both long-range and short-range combat. It has a black fireball attack it can use to hit players running away. And if gamers get close, it has spinning attacks along with a deadly black tornado move. Gamers can use one of the many summons to distract it and get a couple of hits in. Just know that it will float into the air and begin phase 2 of the fight when it has about a quarter of health left.

Quickly get away from the Apostle as it will explode in a small area of black flame around it. Then be sure to keep a safe distance for the rest of this fight. It has a new move where it will stretch its torso and swing around, hitting everything in its way. Keep trying until fans have beaten the Apostle to get the Godskin Peeler and the Scouring Black Flame Elden Ring incantation.

The Godskin Peeler takes 17 Strength and 22 Dexterity to wield, so it may not be the most accessible weapon for some builds. However, the Black Flame Tornado ability, which gamers might remember from the fight, is an excellent AoE attack that can help when enemies have surrounded players.

Elden Ring is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
