At this point, we all feel Miyazaki and co. enjoy watching players go on a wild goose chase regarding game theories. Whether it is that Queen Marika is Torrent or Patches is the true Elden Lord, there’s no shortage of them. So, you can imagine the many conspiracies players think are happening after the release of Shadow of the Erdtree‘s trailer. The most recent one involves the possible final boss of Elden Ring‘s DLC and how it might be the world’s most dangerous boy band.
According to Fan Theories, Elden Ring’s DLC Final Boss Could Include More than One Foe
Forget about Malenia, Godfrey, or the cart-wheeling Albinauric folk. According to players, Elden Ring‘s final boss for the DLC will feature previous bosses… on steroids. Also, before you take this to heart, it’s all merely fan speculation at this point in time. So please refrain from spamming “Let Me Solo Her” for help.
Since the long-awaited announcement, many gamers have been thinking about who the final baddie would be. Some think it might be the weird dragon-dog wriggling thing we saw in the trailer. Others feel Messmer might be the one to bring frustration upon the player base, but it’s all uncertain. Still, the latest theory might be the scariest we’ve seen in years.
The game’s tight-nit community posted leaks as a joke, saying we’d face foes like Crucible Elden Beast, Gloam Eyed Queen, and Five Fingers United, among others. The latter is still my favorite theory, by the way. This has made many believe that From Software is preparing the debut of a boy band-like boss fight, which would be the bane of many. So, let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.
On the other hand, we never know what the people at From Software are thinking. What might be just a crazy, humor-filled, harmless theory could turn out to be true. I pray to Miquella that it doesn’t. Still, we won’t have to wait long to see what the studio has in store for us. With a release planned for June 2024, players are saddling Torrent and jumping into the Lands Between once more. So, if you want to face the rumored boy band, there’s no better time than today to get some runes and warm up before Shadow of the Erdtree drops in a few months.
