Donald Trump had his supporters over for a Thanksgiving dinner following his win in the US presidential elections. Among the high-profile attendees at the Thanksgiving event were Demolition Man actor Sylvester Stallone and Donald Trump’s staunch backer Elon Musk, who wound up sharing their ideologies on wokeness. A clip from the dinner, hosted at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, has since gone viral, spotlighting Musk’s charged interaction with Stallone.
In the leaked clip, Donald Trump appeared engrossed in hosting duties as his loyalists, Elon Musk and Sylvester Stallone discussed behind him at the Thanksgiving dinner. While the actual content of their conversation was inaudible, the ever-daring Tesla billionaire took to his X platform to reveal it to the public, retweeting one of the leaked clips.
Elon Musk Reveals Content of Private Conversation With Sylvester Stallone
According to Elon Musk, he spent his time at the Thanksgiving dinner telling Sylvester Stallone how his 1993 movie, which he recently watched again, accurately predicted the onset of the woke era and its repercussions on humanity. The tech mogul wrote,
“I was telling @TheSlyStallone that I just watched Demolition Man again and how well it predicted the crazy woke future 30 years ago!”
Elon Musk has made no secret of his disdain for the woke era and its impact on today’s world. Aside from promoting posts seemingly condemning wokeness on his platform, the X owner has also castigated the concept in interviews and social media posts. His most direct dig at the woke era is reflected in his estranged relationship with his transdaughter Vivian Wilson, who he famously described as “killed by the woke virus.” Musk also supported Trump’s presidential bid, driven by the president-elect’s vision to crack down on woke policies.
The president-elect doubled down on his anti-woke views once again by taking a jab at his demoratic opponents in his Thanksgiving post. In the post, shared to X in the wake of his high-profile dinner Donald Trump wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving. He added a scathing note to the “Radical Left Lunatics” who have worked so hard to destroy the country with their “hopelessly bad” ideas and policies.
While Sylvester Stallone has not been as open as Elon Musk about his views on wokeness, the Demolition Man star, 78, publicly endorsed Donald Trump ahead of the US presidential elections. The actor even ranked the former POTUS on par with revered US political figures like George Washington and even Jesus Christ. Although his comments earned him backlash from anti-Trumpers and the Christian community, the actor clearly remains unapologetic about his political views, especially with one more reason to be grateful for this Thanksgiving following his candidate’s election win.
