Elon Musk To ‘Gift’ $100 Million to Trump Political Operation: ‘This is as Slimy as It Gets’

A very special advice

A lot is happening in the White House right now and amid Elon Musk‘s $150 Billion net worth drop due to Tesla’s troubles, it appears the billionaire’s pocket-change wallet remains unfazed. Musk is now poised to donate $100 million to US President Donald Trump‘s political operation, according to some unnamed sources.

The report came from a New York Times piece published on Tuesday. According to New York Times’ sources, which are supposedly three people looking closely on the matter, Elon Musk will be putting the $100 million into groups affiliated with the Trump political operation. It’s a move that’s “unheard-of” and somewhat suspicious, especially for someone with a special position in the Trump administration like Elon Musk.

Coincidentally on the same day, President Donald Trump bought a couple of Tesla cars from Musk and even promoted the car company in front of the White House while also seeking to enact the further criminalization of boycotts and vandalism against Tesla Inc. Trump is thus directly defending Tesla Inc. and will even treat violence against Tesla’s assets as domestic terrorism.

While Musk has previously spent nearly $300 million during the most recent election to help Trump’s election campaign, it appears this new $100 million donation will be different as it will be directed at entities controlled by the Trump team. It’s not clear what Musk’s motivations are, but experts from the New York Times have surmised that he’s looking to strengthen his position as Senior Adviser to President Trump.

What was the $100 Million For?

As for where exactly the $100 million will go to, some of Trump’s newest political team groups are made up of a pair of organizations called MAGA Inc. and Securing America’s Greatness. Both groups have also previously raised around $500 million, which they plan to use for the midterm elections, supposedly to strengthen the Republican stance toward President Trump’s agendas.

Meanwhile, other people online have a more candid deduction of Musk’s plans for Trump and have even mocked the odd pairing between the two. Some have pointed to the more obvious, where the $100 million could be a promotion fee for Tesla on White House grounds– something completely unethical.

Others are worrying about how Musk and Trump aren’t hiding their seemingly unethical practices anymore, especially what goes on inside the White House.

“This is truly as slimy as it gets folks. The cat is fully out of the bag now… they don’t care to hide it,” says Redditor u/Dry_Independence8406

“In exchange for Trump promoting publicly traded company on White House grounds.

Ethics violations anyone??,” suggests Redditor u/Flower-Immediate

“This isn’t a bribe, it’s because I think you’re smart and good looking,” jokes Redditor u/morbob

US citizens are also now awaiting the upcoming 2026 midterm election, where it’s possible that the effects of Elon Musk and Trump’s machinations could become more visible.
