Emma Watson proved that the classic sundress style will always be in vogue as she stepped out in a simple white frock back in 2016. Enjoying a weekend stroll in New York City, the Harry Potter actress flew the flag for understated elegance, showing off her toned legs in a low-key way and rocking the loafer finish now adored by supermodel Kendall Jenner.
Eyeing up warmer weather in April of that year, Emma was photographed exiting a Walgreens as the paparazzi chased her around. The 34-year-old nailed her summer style while also donning shades, and fans couldn’t get enough. In fact, one user responding to The Daily Mail‘s photos even said that Emma “makes a bed sheet look good.”
Emma Watson Turns Heads With Sundress Style
Sticking to a crisp shade of white, Emma went sleeveless in a loose-flowing, leggy sundress with a structured collar detail. Looking like she’d chosen a high-end piece, the British beauty paired her dress with leather loafers in black, also slinging a black purse over one shoulder.
Strutting confidently and mostly photographed solo, Emma kept glam with her long bob worn down, sporting slight highlights and wearing a very light layer of makeup.
Showing off her good looks, but not out to flaunt them, Emma was also seen with a male pal — during one moment, she appeared to be giving him directions as she used one finger to point ahead.
Could Make ‘A Bed Sheet Look Good’
“She’s cute, love her style,” one fan gushed. Another, meanwhile, replied: “She looks great, lovely woman.” Sending the Prada Beauty the ultimate compliment, a third wrote: “So stunning she makes even a bed sheet look good.”
Emma has majorly upped her style game since, although these days, it’s brands paying her to wear their clothes. In 2022, the actress began fronting Prada’s Paradoxxe scent, with much of 2023 bringing Prada promos on her Instagram.
In addition, Emma has been discreetly tagging luxury Spanish designer Loewe as she continues to promote the Renais Gin spirits brand she co-owns with her brother. In a statement marking her Prada join, Emma said:
“Prada has always gone beyond traditional models and archetypes of conceived beauty and is famous for a femininity that challenges conventions. It’s a pleasure to create a campaign and represent a fragrance with such a profound philosophical concept and sustainability initiatives in a way that feels genuinely real and relevant.”
Prior to fronting Prada Beauty, Emma was signed to luxury British designer Burberry. The actress is followed by over 74 million on Instagram and mostly dedicates her feed to the brand she’s signed to.
