Things in the Shroud are about to get even more dangerous, but that’s not a bad thing. While some people know this place like the back of their hands, the new update for Enshrouded, Thralls of Twilight, will bring new things for all Flameborn to discover. And you know what’s the best thing about it? Its release date isn’t that far away. In just a few weeks, players will be able to face new enemies, unlock a new system, and, as always, bring home amazing rewards. So, get your Flameborn ready and sharpen your weapons because your next shroud-delving journey will begin soon.

Enshrouded ‘Thralls of Twilight’ Launches in May 2025

Enshrouded unveiled a teaser for Update 6, Thralls of Twilight, during the triple-i showcase. In it, we can see glimpses of new enemies inside the Shroud, players using new powerful skills, and more mysterious things the developers will likely unveil in the coming weeks. As the teaser claims, this update will launch sometime in May 2025.

Thralls of Twilight will be the sixth major update for the game, and besides the abovementioned addition, there are improvements coming to the night cycle, as well as the addition of the weapon customization mechanic. Details of the latter are still foggy (no pun intended), but we’ll surely learn more about them once the update’s release date approaches.

Beyond that, the developers also shared that Enshrouded has reached 4 million players, which is huge. Enshrouded has been one of the most consistent and polished early-access games out there, so it is great to see many players backing it up on its road to release.

So, if your Flameborn has been resting for a while, it is time to get them off your base’s couch and prepare for yet another Shroud expedition. It seems things will be more dangerous this time, but that’s what makes it all even more exciting.
