Fans of Eternal will be able to take on opponents with a new Hero for Dire Wolf Digital’s strategy card game. Milos, known as the Unwavering Idealist, is available to Eternal players right now.
Developers say Milos is a bounty hunter with the ability to buff himself when playing another unit on the battlefield. Each unit played when Milos is on the field gains him plus one attack and defense. The unit then gets a plus one to each of theirs as well. Players will be able to earn Milos after winning a PVP game.
“The wind-worn walls of the canyon glowed, reflecting an orange sunset as Milos picked his way along a precarious trail. The bounty hunter’s terse message had elicited a wry smile. Jekk continued to surprise him.”
Dire Wolf Digital announced the new bounty hunter card on their website. They detailed his backstory is connected to Jekk, the game’s bounty hunter who acts as the narrator for Eternal’s opening cinematic and training for the player.
Milos had, at one point, been the leader of a group of rebels who hid deep in a series of caves. His background is also linked with that of another hero named Svetya, the Orene of Kosul. It appears the two heroes want to work together to stop the city of Kosul from being attacked as Argenport had.
“Milos had been in Argenport when he heard of the Kosul coup. Word was that the new Oren had installed himself by force, and ruled by terror. That sort of thing didn’t sit right with Milos, never had. It was a family trait. If he could act, and change things, he had to.”
Once the promo quest event is over, players will be able to craft Milos using Shiftstone as normal. They can also buy Milos in the store for 300 gems for a limited time. Milos’ promo event quest ends February 27th.
