As per Epic’s tradition of spilling the freebie beans early, Europa Universalis IV won’t be available for free download until next week. Not to worry though as Mouldy Toof Studios’ The Escapists is up for grabs as of 8 AM PT, 11 AM EDT, 4 PM GMT today to tide us over.

As the name implies, The Escapists tasks you with escaping a prison. The game is styled as a sandbox experience offering countless ways to chart a path to freedom from causing riots, digging tunnels, or donning a guard’s garb to slip out in plain sight.
