After five years of development and more than two years of early access, Everspace 2 finally launched for PC in April. The game, which gave a profound experience of space and sold more than 300,000 copies quickly, excited the console owners with its success. At first, the developer did not provide a precise date for the game’s console launch. However, things seem to have changed now, as we have the Everspace 2 release date for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Everspace 2 Arrives on PlayStation and Xbox Consoles, Release Date Announced

EVERSPACE 2 | Console Release Date Trailer

ROCKFISH Games has announced that Everspace 2 will be launched for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 15. The game’s console version will be available in the Xbox Game Pass library from day one. Players will also be able to experience the fast-paced single-player spaceship shooter game at 60 FPS on their consoles. Besides, when we look at the PlayStation Store, we can see that the game will benefit from numerous DualSense features, including haptic feedback and adaptive trigger effects.

Everspace 2 offers players a space experience filled with 30 hours of single-player adventures. During this time, your mission will be to discover new types of aliens, uncover space secrets, and defend your cargo against space gangs. Of course, not only that, but also more than 100 unique locations in the depths of space await you. It’s time to jump into hyperdrive and start exploring.

You can also check out the description of the game below:

”Everspace 2 puts you in the pilot seat in this fast-paced single-player space shooter, where vicious encounters and brutal challenges stand between you and that next epic loot drop. Explore the war-torn star systems of the Demilitarized Zone of Cluster 34—each massive handcrafted area is packed with secrets, puzzles, and perils to encounter.”

Everspace 2 is available for pre-order now for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S and retails for $49.99. Finally, sales of the physical version will begin on October 3.
