It may seem like it was only yesterday that we got our last Xbox Partner Preview, but we’ve already gotten a new one to wrap March 2026 with an Xbox-shaped ribbon. Instead of focusing on first-party titles, Xbox shone a light on some third-party studios, all of them with superb games ranging from shooters, brawlers, cozy with a side of horror, and more. In case you missed the event, here’s a list of all major announcements during the recent Xbox Partner Preview of March 26, 2026.
Xbox Partner Preview – All Major Announcements
If you want just a quick summary, the official Xbox channel has already uploaded a recap of the Partner Preview. But if you want to take a look at some of the biggest individual titles, then keep reading because there are some interesting ones that we were not expecting during the showcase.
Rebellion is Back with Alien Deathstorm
Rebellion surprised us with what looks like another banger first-person shooter from the legendary studio. Alien Deathstorm is the sci-fi survival horror we’ve been waiting for, and by the short glimpse we got, it seems the developers understand the elements of the genre, as it looks scary, atmospheric, but also chaotic, as one would expect. The downside is that it will launch sometime in 2027, which means we’ll have to wait a while until we experience this shooter.
An Unlikely Trio Arrives With Artificial Detective
It is always nice to see action-adventure games, and it is even better when they focus on a sci-fi dystopian future, as that’s one of the best settings for a detective story. Artificial Detective brings a trio of robotic dogs, a detective, and a human girl, as they try to solve the world’s biggest mystery: where are all humans? This is yet another title coming in 2027, but one we’ll keep our eyes on because it looks like something innovative with a gorgeous and unique style.
Dispatch is Landing on Xbox This Summer
By now, everyone is familiar with Dispatch, the episodic adventure with excellent characters, narrative, and cast, which appeared during the Xbox Partner Preview to announce that it is coming to Xbox this Summer. While we don’t have a specific date yet, we know this game is right around the corner, and Xbox gamers will finally get to experience one of the best video game stories of last year.
The Eternal Life of Goldman Is Stylish, Magical, and Challenging
It is always great to see studios move away from the usual photorealistic visuals in favor of something flashier, or rather, more classical. The Eternal Life of Goldman brings a gorgeous hand-drawn style to a challenging platformer, where an unlikely hero takes center stage to kill The Deity. It is great to see the platformer genre rising again, and this one is one we can’t wait to play once it launches. There’s a demo available for it today if you want to try it.
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn Showcases an Expanded Gameplay Look
One of our most anticipated titles is The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, as it comes from one of the best RPG developers of recent times: Owlcat Games. While we’ve seen many things regarding its companions, combat systems, and more, today, we got a look at some RPG dialogue choices, fast-paced combat, exploration, and, of course, more companion interactions with some who have already stolen our hearts. The beta for The Expanse: Osiris Reborn kicks off on April 22, 2026.
Ever Wanted Scary Stardew Valley? That’s Grave Seasons For You
Cozy games have been on a roll lately, but we have to admit that a few of them follow the same formula and try to play it safe in many ways. Fortunately, Grave Season seems to be taking the cozy part of Stardew Valley, but throwing some wild and scary twists to deliver a unique farming experience with some horror on the side. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long to try it, as it launches on August 14, 2026.
The Godlike, Roguelike, Hades II, Is Coming to Xbox
Hades II surprised us during the Xbox Partner Preview with a gorgeous 2D, animated, and sandal-burning video to announce that this game is finally coming to Xbox. As you know, the 1.0 version was released not long ago, and people have been having a blast with this game ever since. Now, Xbox gamers will get to play one of the greatest roguelikes ever made, which is also one of those rare occasions where a sequel surpasses an already fantastic predecessor. Hades II arrives on Xbox on April 14, 2026.
The World of Darkness Returns with Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish
We have another shooter that caught the attention of many, as it belongs to the beloved World of Darkness, and we’re talking about Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish. While we know the genre is overcrowded to say the least, the truth is that this upcoming title looks extremely unique and has all the potential to stand out among the sea of shooters. Its release window is set for Summer 2027, which is the only downside, but at least we know we’ll get more information about this game in the upcoming months.
Moosa: Dirty Fate Brings Martial Arts and Gorgeous Visuals
It is always great to see games inspired by other cultures, and it’s been a while since we got an action title set in Feudal Korea. That’s MOOSA: Dirty Fate, a beautiful-looking action-adventure experience with brutal combat, superb graphics, and a setting many of us want to explore. This one is also coming sometime in 2027.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Unveiled its Cost of Hope DLC
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 still has a lot of stories to tell, and the next chapter coming to this long-awaited sequel is the Cost of Hope DLC. Players will be involved in a fight between two factions, and even set foot inside Chornobyl for a 20-hour-long journey or more, depending on how much you explore. The DLC launches this summer.
RGG Studio Showcases More Stranger Than Heaven Gameplay
We were already surprised when we saw the announcement of Stranger Than Heaven, and now, the legendary RGG Studio has surprised us with more gameplay, showing one of the best combat systems from these brawler game experts, and the most gorgeous visuals we’ve seen since Infinite Wealth and Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. For those interested, a showcase is coming on May 6.
Beyond the above announcements, the Xbox Partner Preview also had news for Wuthering Waves coming to Xbox, a new Super Meat Boy 3D launching on March 31, and a few more games that you’ll want to check out in the official video or in the recap. In any case, this year is looking great for Xbox, in both first and third-party fronts. We can’t wait for the launch days to arrive because this lineup is certainly packed.
