There are still many unknowns regarding one of Teyvat’sย largestย organizations: the Fatui. To begin with, we still need to find out their goals or how they fit in with Tsaritsa’s plan. However, we know that the right hand of the Cryo Archon is the Harbingers. Up until Version 4.6, we’ve already met Scaramouche, Dottore, Tartaglia, Signora, and Arlecchino in person. Another Fatui that has attracted much attention amongst Genshin Impact fans is Pantalone.ย While he hasn’t made any big splashes yet,ย there areย a few tidbits out thereย thatย are more than enough for lore aficionados.ย
Who is Pantalone in Genshin Impact?
Well, we already know that Pantalone is the Ninth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers; that is to say that in power, he is one place above Childe. To get to that place, Pantalone went through even more obstacles since he was born into poverty, and unlike his peers, he never obtained a Vision. This is what made him so divided on the injustices and inequalities of the world; the main reason why he often works with Dottore. His intelligence and financial management helped him improve his situation so much that Pantalone gained the codename “Regrator.” He is the wealthiest Fatui in the organization and is in charge of Snezhnaya’s economic policies. Some characters even say that Pantalone wants to turn Snezhnaya into the financial capital of Teyvat and replace the Mora with a new currency from the Cryo nation.
Pantalone’s debut in Genshin Impact‘s Teyvat Chapter Interlude Teaser: A Winter Night’s Lazzo, a video commemorating Signora’s funeral, revealed a striking revelation. He bears an uncanny resemblance to Baizhu, sparking intense speculation about whether they could be the same person or somehow related. However, the lack of information makes this one more of a mystery.
Currently, in Genshin Impact, Pantalone and Pulcinella are supposed to be working on something called “Project Stuzha.” This joint work could dictate where the Fatui head as an organization and the future of Snezhnaya. Although they are not the only ones working on it, the House of the Hearth is vital to the project. Also, during Ignis Purgatorius’s Story Quest, Arlecchino talks to Tartaglia about his involvement in the project. This is an essential part of the story, so HoYoverse will set him aside until we face Pantalone in the future. However, there are many more updates to come before this event.
