Luana Alonso is choosing a new profession after her controversial exit from the 2024 Paris Olympics, and some fans are pretty disappointed. The retired Paraguayan swimmer recently debuted on OnlyFans months after being allegedly kicked out of the games for creating an “inappropriate atmosphere.” However, Alonso has vehemently denied leaving against her will.
Following her exit from the competition, Alonso made several promises about her post-athletic career — from returning to school and aiming to become a Sports Minister one day. But it seems she is pausing her goals to connect with fans and sell adult content. Luana Alonso dropped the link to her OF account a few days earlier, charging around $35 monthly to access her sizzling content. So far, she has kept her posts pretty mild with steamy bikini shots similar to her Instagram feed. Her explicit bio reads:
“Your favorite Ex-Swimmer. Promise you won’t regret this. We’re gonna have a lot of fun together (in the messages).”
While some might enjoy her adult content, a few fans could not help but express disappointment over Alonso’s career change. One individual reminded her about her goals, writing, “I thought you were going to study in the US and then become an executive in a state entity that supports sports in Paraguay?“
Another critic penned, “Everyone knew this was going to happen, hahaha,” while a third declared, “You will regret this one day.” Regret or not, Alonso has been getting plenty of attention since her alleged expulsion from the Olympics, with football superstar Neymar sliding into her DMs, per Daily Mail.
Luana Alonso Addressed Paris Olympics Controversy
Alonso’s exit from the Olympics was embroiled in speculations, with some claiming her beauty was too much for officials to handle. However, she shut down these narratives in a statement on her Instagram Story, per US Weekly, stressing:
“I just wanted to make it clear that I was never removed or expelled from anywhere.”
Alonso also noted the information spreading about her was “false” and claimed she chose to leave, hence her retirement. However, her words contradicted earlier reports about her behavior during the Paris Olympics, where she sparked controversy with visits to the Eiffel Tower and Disneyland.
“Her presence is creating an inappropriate atmosphere within Team Paraguay,” the head of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee, Larissa Schaerer, said in a statement. The President of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee, Camilo Perez, echoed similar sentiments, noting:
“We are a serious team that seeks to compete, not to go sightseeing.”
Luana Alonso, who has been receiving attention since Paris, is set to get even more with OnlyFans.
