If you are waiting for Fall Guys Mobile, then good news! It is coming soon — but only on China. Niko Partner analyst and industry insider Daniel Ahmad reported that one of China’s tech giant Bilibili managed to secure the rights to publish Fall Guys Mobile in the region. Unfortunately, the official page is inaccessible by IP from outside of China. The news is also being reported by Chinese online media to boot, so I’m pretty it is not a hoax or scam.
Bilibili is more known as a YouTube or NicoNico Douga alternative for Chinese anime fans. But they also have published several popular anime-themed mobile games, such as BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!, Girls’ Frontline, Azur Lane, and Fate/Grand Order. Other than publishing their involvement in the game industry includes sponsoring League of Legends and Overwatch esports teams as well.

So far there is still no confirmation whether Fall Guys Mobile will be released outside of China. Although previously there was a blatant mobile knock-off named Fall Gang: Knockout on iOS. Before it was taken down from the App Store by Apple on August 9th, the game’s numbers of new players peaked at 27,000 installs on August 7th. Most of them come from the US, with 17,000 devices or 21% of the total figure. China ranked second with 8.6% installs, and Mexico with 7.4%. Fall Guys social media accounts also warned people of a fake Fall Guys Mobile ads that have been circulating on the internet for a while.
It is disappointing that (for now, at least) the mobile port of Fall Guys is only coming to China. But considering the mobile rip-off gained huge popularity in North America as well, maybe Mediatonic is considering launching it globally one day. What do you think of this news?
