Fallout 3 will always be my favorite game of the series, but I can’t deny that Fallout 4 is also a marvelous entry. With the live-action series going at full speed, Bethesda has finally revealed the release date for the next-gen update of Fallout 4. While I’m no stranger to the dangers of the Commonwealth and have traversed it countless times, what’s one more time? With the new graphical look, content additions, and more, I can’t wait to kick a few radroaches in the face.
Fallout 4’s Next-Gen Update Launches on April 25 and Brings New Content
Graphics updates aside, the next-gen version of Fallout 4 brings new story content, making me as happy as a Super Mutant in a high radiation zone. On April 25, players can get a free upgrade with a native PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version of this game. Besides the usual graphics and performance mode, you can expect a few content updates to keep things fresh. Of the things that excite me the most, I’m looking forward to the return of The Enclave. With the Commonwealth dealing with so many issues, another crazy faction thrown into the mix can’t hurt, right?
Furthermore, this is a perfect time to launch this update for Fallout‘s fourth main installment. The show has been fantastic and even competes with other video game live-action adaptations. With that in mind, many players have expressed their drive to return to this radiation-filled land and take their vault jumpsuits for a spin. It couldn’t be a better time than now. In two weeks, the Commonwealth will be full of vault dwellers again.
It’s great to see how a show can rekindle the love for a video game, but this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this. Edgerunners revived Cyberpunk 2077, and Amazon’s latest show is doing the same for one of Bethesda’s recent outings. With how much fame this series is getting again, Bethesda could consider doing something for Fallout 76 as well. After all, it is a live service game, and a few of us wouldn’t mind visiting Appalachia again.
