One of the strongest attributes of all Fallout games is their quests. Even though Fallout 76 didn’t have a good start, it found redemption but even from the beginning, the quests of this game were fun to complete. As you explore Appalachia in Fallout 76, you can become a scout and get a series of new quests. In one of the quests, you are tasked with control pests, and here is how to do it at Dolly Sods in Fallout 76.
How to Control Pests at Dolly Sods in Fallout 76
After going to Appalachia and becoming a scout, you will be tasked with clearing Dolly Sods of pests or simply performing a pest control job. You can get this quest by talking to Pioneer Scouts Campground, which will give a series of tasks, and one of them is to clear Dolly Sods of pests.
The Dolly Sods is a location on the eastern side of the map in The Mire region. In the Dolly Sods, you should talk to Scoutmaster Treadly and then get the quest. Then you can select the quest called Stings and Things which is the control pest quest you need to complete.
After activating the quest, you will get 5 different areas on your map marked where you can find the pests you need to take care of. You need the insect parts of the Bloatfly Gland, Bloodbug Proboscis, Roadroach Meat, Stingwing Barb, and Tick Blood Sac.
If you open your map, you can see five different areas where to must search and find one of these insects. Once you’ve got to any of those areas, look around and after finding the pests, take care of them. After that, loot parts of their body and then move to the next location.
