Fallout 76 Middle Mountain Cabins

Middle Mountain Cabins is one of the countless locations that are scattered across the Savage Divide region in Fallout 76. The location can also yield several notable loot spawns and is also home to several dangerous predators like Honey Beasts.

In this guide will we go over everything you need to know about The Fallout 76 Middle Mountain Cabins Location.

Fallout 76 Middle Mountain Cabins

Where Is Fallout 76 Middle Mountain Cabins Location?

The Middle Mountain Cabins location is found northwest of the Whitespring Golf Resort as shown by the image above. As previously mentioned, Middle Mountain Cabins is also home to a pretty wide range of lootable items. However, please note that the loot spawns will vary between game worlds and how recently a player has been through that area before you. Despite this, you will have a chance to find several items that we will have listed down below.

Potential Notable Loot:

  • Vault-Tec Bobbleheads
  • Magazines
  • Plasma Grenade
  • Royal Jelly
  • Mini Nuke
  • Power Armor Chassis
  • Cooking Recipe
  • Armor Mods
  • Weapon Mods
  • Power Armor/Weapon Mods

Potential Enemies:

  • Yao Guai
  • Honey Beasts
  • Radscorpions
  • Radroaches

In addition to the potential notable loot, Fallout 76 Middle Mountain Cabins is also home to a fairly large range of dynamic loot spawns that include the following listed in the chart below.

Dynamic Loot Spawns
Weapons Assault Rifles,  Combat Rifles, 44 Pistols, Combat Shotguns, Hunting Rifles, and all Pipe Weapon variants.
Ammunition 308 rounds, 38 rounds, 44 rounds, 45 rounds, 5.56mm rounds, 5mm rounds, Shotgun shells, Arrows, etc.
Consumables Wine, Whiskey, Vodka, and several other kinds of alcoholic drinks. The player can also find the following chems: Stimpacks, Psycho, Psychotats. Several food items such as pies and Radroach Meat can also be found in the cabins.
Junk Radio Jammer, Several Bones, Cigarettes, Cigarettes Cartons, Bobby Pins, and Numerous Bottles.
Power Armor Raider Armor Chest, Arms, and Head.

Where To Find All Potential Notable Loot

Moving on, we will now show you where you can possibly find some notable items starting with the two Vault-Tec Bobbleheads that can be found in the cabins. The first bobblehead the player can find is the Sneak bobblehead when the player uses this bobblehead they will become 30% harder to detect while sneaking. You can find this bobblehead in the southern cabin on the desk next to the  Pioneer Scout terminal as shown in the image below.

Moving on, the next bobblehead is called Repair and it can be found in the cabin that is southwest on a shelf above a fireplace as shown in our image below.

The next notable loot item you can find at the Middle Mountain Cabins is a Power Armor Chassis that can spawn with several variations of Raider Power Armor attached to it. You can find the power armor standing outside the southwestern cabin as shown in our image below.

Now for the magazines. To find the first one, you are going to need to go to the outhouse located somewhat in the middle of the cabin area. When you find the outhouse, the first magazine should be sitting on the bench inside. You can see the image below for the exact location.

Unfortunately, we were not able to find the next one. But it can be found in a tool shed sitting on a crate inside northeast of the eastern cabin. You can see the exact location in the screenshot below.

As we mentioned in a list earlier, Royal Jelly is also an item the player can find at the Fallout 76 Middle Mountain Cabins. However, during our playthrough, we only managed to find the one that is located in a basket next to the grave behind the eastern cabin. But the other Royal Jelly spawns can be found in the following locations; southern cabin next to the terminal, eastern cabin on a table in the center of the room, and the southwest cabin on a table to the right. Also, note that you can find a note nailed to a grave post next to the basket with the Royal Jelly.

Again, for the mods similar to the Royal Jelly, we only managed to find one armor mod during our search of the cabins. You can find this shelf inside the southern cabin but you can also find other mods at the following locations; On the dining table in the southern cabin,  a desk in the eastern cabin, and a wine rack in the southwest cabin.

The final potential item we found was a recipe on a table next to a cooking station near the central campfire area. There is also a note the player can find on another picnic table near the one with the recipe.

With that last item, we have concluded our guide for the Fallout 76 Middle Mountain Cabins. But before you go, it is worth noting that there are some items we have missed because the loot spawns for each world can vary drastically between game worlds. That said, we suggest players to be thorough when looting the cabins especially in the tool shed as that is were a mini-nuke can potentially spawn.

Also, please leave feedback regarding how we did with this guide in the comment section below and also share this guide via social media. Until next time Vault Dwellers and remember to be safe out there!
