False Mechanics Invade a Shop in Arizona Just For Some Internet Clout

Just let the professionals work

I’ve seen a fair share of “pranks” on the internet, with some being facepalm-inducing, others completely harmless, and a few falling somewhere in between. I’d say the one in this article is of the latter, as a TikToker brought a group of false mechanics to a workshop in Arizona to work on the cars. While it has a few funny moments, some people question the actions of this TikTok user. For starters, he and his crew are working on other people’s cars without proper expertise, jeopardizing the work of the actual employees in the workshop.

The video comes from TikTok user Heston James. For those who don’t know, he usually uploads prank videos where he brings dozens of people to pose as employees of one particular business. One of his most famous ones involved a Target store, but now, the target was an Arizona vehicle workshop that suffered from the involvement of false mechanics.

The clip starts with James saying, “I’m just going to be bringing all my guys.” He continues to say that the people at the business have been working slowly and that there have been complaints. James claims he’s from corporate and that his people are on the way. One of the actual employees dares him to call the people, and shortly after, a van full of almost 10 fake mechanics arrives.

They start pretending to work on the workshop’s vehicles. A few even start making calls asking for things like a “Catalytic.” I’m not making the word up; that’s what they said. However, you can clearly say that the real employees are annoyed at this and are trying to get the fake mechanics out of the shop.

Ironically, many found this amusing. Yet, a few noticed that this seemingly harmless prank could’ve led to serious consequences for the employees at the workshop.

“So they damage someone’s car or hurt themselves in the shop, who is to blame?” – Sybrenet via TikTok.

The above statement is true. While it is funny on the surface, someone could’ve caused an accident. If so, the workshop would be at fault, and that’s not great for the business. Fortunately, it seems nothing happened. Still, if this content creator wants to continue with this type of video, he should look for places that don’t involve tools or expensive cars.
