Last week, a Youtuber uploaded a fan-made video compiled of both Star Wars and Mario Kart. Now we have a retro, fan-made video of Super Mario Kart with 101 different characters!
You read the title and article right. A total variety of “101” racers in the original NES style title “Super Mario Kart”. Mario Circuit track featured not only Mario-related character’s but other non-Nintendo-based casts like Gohan (Dragon Ball Z) and Ratchet (Ratchet and Clank series). The race started off with a rocky start when toad hit the accelerator too hard as all 101 AI players sped past him– commence ultimate recovery. Little Toad launched past an assortment of characters, had a run-in with a ghost from Pac-Man, squashed a few members giant, and hijacked Captain Falcon’s F-Zero ship– how the Super Mario Kart was originally played! In the end of it all, the blue shell always conquered and Toad ate the dust coming in a whooping 18th place.
