Social media fans are defending Khloe Kardashian after the reality star seemingly slammed Tokyo Toni. In case you missed it, the Kardashians mainstay recently got people riled up on Instagram. For the holidays, Khloe spent time with her massive family, including her sisters, mother, and their children. Naturally, the 40-year-old posted some photos on her Instagram.
In a series of photos, the fashionista posed with her family in front of a sky-high Christmas tree. She also shared snaps of the dinner table and their long-time family friend, Cici Bussey.
On the other hand, Tokyo Toni, who is Khloe’s niece’s grandmother, had different plans for Thanksgiving Day. Instead of posting photos of herself, the Zeus Network reality star shared videos of her passing out pans of food to the homeless. Both of these acts are perfectly acceptable; however, some fans seemed bothered by Khloe’s posting. “Y’all over here enjoying while Dream’s grandma is feeding the homeless,” one user wrote in the comments. Khloe peeped the statement and fired back with a message of her own. So, what did she have to say?
Khloé Doesn’t Want the Praise for Doing Good Deeds
When Khloe noticed the comment about her actions versus Tokyo’s on Thanksgiving Day, she fired back with a message of her own.
“I’m not knocking what anyone else chooses to show or keep to themselves,” she wrote. The Kardashians star continued, saying she understands that people go through tough moments in life. However, according to her, she doesn’t “feel it’s right to publicize that for my own personal pat on the back.” As she went on, she said she’s happy to highlight organizations but doesn’t feel comfortable showcasing people at a “low point” in their lives. “To each their own, I’m only speaking for myself.”
Now, Khloe deleted her original comment and ended up replying with something else.
“Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven,” she wrote. “Just because we don’t post about it, doesn’t mean we aren’t doing it my love. Sending you love and blessings.”
Despite the Bible verse, some fans jumped on Khloe in the comments.
“Tokyo does this every year,” someone commented. “It’s not a pat on the back when she does it every year consistently.”
“They literally filmed them cleaning up a homeless man on the show,” another wrote. “Like, stop. You clearly didn’t care about showing someone at their lowest, then!”
“She could’ve said nothing….good luck,” a third person quipped.
However, several came to the mother of two’s defense.
Fans Are Defending Koko After Getting Into It With Users Online
Although she’s received some negative feedback, several people are defending Khloe Kardashian after her seemingly shady post about Tokyo Toni.
Under @TheNeighborhoodTalk’s comments on Instagram, many users questioned why people would be upset with Khloe. After all, she did what the majority of Americans around the United States did for Thanksgiving Day—spent it with her family.
“So, y’all mad because Khloe spent the holidays with family like most people do, and Toni did something completely separate from them that had nothing to do with them?” someone asked.
“The original comment was weird to begin with. What does one have to do with the other?” another person wondered.
“Yall need to stop worrying about what the next person is doing,” a third person added.
Others also mentioned the different lifestyles both women likely live. One user said Khloe may choose to get dressed in a fancy “$10,000” gown and “write a check for a charity,” while Toni prefers to be “in the trenches.”
Other fans also jumped in to warn Khloe that Tokyo, who’s known to pop off, would likely snap on her on social media in the coming days. However, as of December 3rd, 2024, Toni has kept quiet. But that doesn’t mean it’s going to stay that way.
