Steam sales are a dime a dozen if we’re being realistic. Users of Valve’s PC platform are no strangers to short sales that knock small discounts off of games, but it’s rare that Steam puts out a larger sale with no catch. Usually, if a Steam game is free, it’s only playable for a short time, acting as more of a demo than a full, actual video game. Like demos, most free Steam games are meant to lure players into buying a game, but if you’re a vintage games fan, you can get TEST TEST TEST by Toge Productions for free on Steam now, no strings attached.
Toge Productions Puts Select Games on Sale via Steam
Released in 2022, Toge Productions’ TEST TEST TEST is an homage to retro point-and-click games. The game, rendered in a pixel-art style, puts the player in charge of an exhausted and overworked office worker trying desperately to escape a time loop. Every 15 minutes, the time loop resets, but in between loops, players can explore handcrafted maps, solve puzzles, and take advantage of some of TEST TEST TEST‘s AR game elements. The game was only released on Steam on January 17th, and the company is predictably trying to build up the type.
If TEST TEST TEST seems like your kind of game, then you’ll be able to get it for free on Steam until January 31st. Better yet, the game’s production company, Toge Productions, is running a Steam sale on all of their other games, with discounts ranging between 20 and 80%. Infectonator: Survivors, normally $9.99, is now available for just $0.99.
She and the Light Bearer is 80% off at $1.99. Coffee Talk, one of the company’s most well-known games, is half-off and currently just $6.49. Several of Toge Productions’ games also have deluxe editions and bundles available under the sale.
