It’s a sad day for Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover. The two Bravo lovebirds, who met on the first season of Winter House, have officially called it quits. The pair were dating for three years, and throughout their relationship, showcased a lot for Bravo’s cameras. In case you need a refresher, Paige stars on Summer House and lives in New York full-time. Her ex-boyfriend, Craig, stars on Southern Charm and lives in Charleston, South Carolina. During their relationship, they traveled to each other frequently and spoke about their future plans. Most notably, in November 2022, Craig revealed he was hoping to propose by Christmas 2023. Clearly, that didn’t happen, and now Paige is saying why.
Paige DeSorbo Calls Breakup With Craig Conover ‘Weird’
During an episode of her podcast, Giggly Squad, Paige DeSorbo confirmed that she was no longer romantically linked to Craig Conover. She revealed that the paid “have decided to no longer be together.” Paige, 32, continued, saying the split is “very weird” before saying she wasn’t “expecting” it. “Obviously, when we first started dating, you don’t think, ‘Oh, what will happen? Will we get married, will we not?’ You’re just kind of, like, in this relationship.” As the episode went on, the Summer House star praised Craig for being one of “the best” people she’s “ever met in my entire life.”
Although they aren’t together, DeSorbo told her listeners that she has “love” for Craig and believes they’ll “remain friends.” The full-time influencer even said he was “the best boyfriend I’ve ever had.” She finished: “I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real-time and what you want for your future.”
Fans Are Dragging Paige Over Her Breakup With Craig
Once the news of Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover’s split became public, Bravo fans rushed to social media to share their opinions. Immediately, watchers rushed to Craig’s defense, calling Paige out for never wanting “to leave New York and settle down.” One user said they felt Paige “was stringing Craig along, knowing she was going to stay where she was at and continue to live her life like a single woman in the city.”
Another user also chimed in, saying they weren’t the least bit surprised by Paige and Craig’s relationship ending. “Are you people really shocked about the Paige and Craig break up? When she started crying about the idea of moving away from her mom, I knew they’d never make it,” they wrote on X.
However, the reactions weren’t all bad. A popular Bravo reaction account, @bravobybetches, came to Paige’s defense. “If your immediate reaction is that ‘wasted his time,’ you’re a weirdo,” they wrote.
Paige and Craig’s Split Be Shown on Summer House
If you’ve been keeping up with Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover, then their split most likely wasn’t a surprise. During the sneak peek of the upcoming season of Summer House, Paige discussed the state of her relationship with her cast mates. In one scene, Ciara Miller seemingly tells Paige that she doesn’t approve of her relationship with Craig, saying he gives “hater energy.” In another clip, Paige and Craig get into an explosive argument after the latter scolded Paige for “choosing work all [of] the time.” She replied: “Should I apologize for being strong and independent?” Elsewhere in the trailer, an emotional Paige told Ciara that she and Craig were going through “a lot.” So, what else will be shown? Watchers can see it when Season 9 premieres on February 12, 2025.
