After being recently announced last week, there is even more exciting news regarding Far Cry 5 that was released earlier today. There were 4 new teaser trailers, each as unsettling as the last, released for one of Ubisoft’s most popular series earlier today. Along with some unpleasantness, the trailers not only show us the setting for the newest Far Cry game but also announces when the official trailer will drop.
Each of the newly released teaser trailers finishes with a simple greeting, “Welcome to Hope County, Montana”. For the first time in the series history, it looks like the game will be taking place in rural America. Despite the earlier rumors of Far Cry 5 taking place in the Wild West, Each trailer is only a few seconds long, but they pack quite the punch. One opens upon a beautiful river scene as a body drifts downstream; another focuses on a man running through a field before being shot down. The third trailer focuses on a flock of birds startled by an unknown man screaming in the wilderness. And as for the final one…Well, I’ll let you see it for yourself.
