While we are still a few months away from getting our hands on Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, SNK has announced that it will run an open beta from February 20 to February 24 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PS4. The great thing about it is that there will be eight characters for players to try and many game modes that will give fighters a glimpse of what’s coming to the game at launch. So, march your calendar and prepare to Rev Up because hands-on time with Fatal Fury is right around the corner.

From February 20 to February 24, players can jump into Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves open beta and test any of the modes coming to it. SNK has confirmed that Ranked Match, Casual Match, and Room Match will be available during the beta period. Furthermore, there are eight characters you can use in these modes, as well as the Training Mode, if you prefer to test your fighter’s skills and moves before taking on new players. The great thing about this is that players will not need a PS Plus or Xbox Game Pass Core/Ultimate subscription to join the beta. That means you only need to download the game once the testing period begins and start fighting.

With the state of recent fighting games, it is an excellent idea that SNK is letting players test the game’s systems way ahead of its launch. This should be a great opportunity to try out the netcode and see how well it performs for those who enjoy online fighting.

Also, if you haven’t, pre-orders are up for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves for both digital and physical editions. If you want to spend a bit more cash, there’s an excellent collector’s edition that you can try to get with some goodies for every Fatal Fury fan.
