Final Fantasy 14 Update 6.45 is finally here and brings many things we’ll list in the patch notes below. As you might know, the MMO provides updates in the middle for its big patches. These updates are fantastic because they bring a lot of new content, such as quests, dungeons, and much more. For those who have been away from the game, now’s the perfect time to return. Whether you want to level Blue Mage, try a new Variant Dungeon, or start crafting, you’ll surely find something for you as soon as you fire up the game.

Final Fantasy 14 6.45 Patch Notes Include New Quests, Dungeons, and More

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 6.45

Side Quests

  • Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures
    • By Agents Unknown
      • Disciple of War or Magic level 90, and players must complete the quest “Generational Bonding.”
  • Manderville Weapons
    • A Spirited Reforging
      • Disciple of War or Magic level 90, and players must complete the side story quests “Well-oiled” and “Not from Around Here.”
  • Splendorous Tools
    • The Joy of Zoi
      • Disciple of the Hand or Land level 90, and players must complete the quest “An Adaptive Tool.”
  • Variant Dungeons
    • Mononoke Aware
      • Players must first complete the main scenario quest “Endwalker” and have also spoken with the NPC Osmon in Old Sharlayan.

New Job Quests

  • New Blue Mage Quests
    • And the Crowd Goes Mild
      • Blue Mage level 70, and players must complete the main scenario quest “Reflections in Crystal” and the job quest “A Future in Blue.”
    • Other Blue Mage quests unlock at levels 73, 75, 78, and 80 after learning certain spells.
  • New chapters added to New Game Plus
    • Mount Rokkon
    • Blue Mage – Part 4

Housing

  • Furnishings from the Design Contest have been added.
  • New furnishings.
  • New orchestrion rolls.

Manderville Gold Saucer

  • New Triple Triad cards.
  • New NPC opponents.

Miscellaneous

  • New hairstyles.
  • New emotes.

Battle System

  • Blue Mage’s level cap increased to 80.
  • New Blue Mage spells are available.
  • The Masked Carnivale has new stages.
  • New entries in the Blue Mage log.
  • New Variant Dungeon: Mount Rokkon
    • Level Requirement: 90
    • Item Level Requirement: 605
    • Requires completion of “Mononoke Aware” quest.
  • Criterion Dungeon unlocks after completing the Variant version.

Items

  • New items.
  • Winning entries from the Weapon Contest have been added.
  • New crafting recipes.
  • New gathering spots for botanists and miners.
  • New fishing holes.
  • New mounts.
  • New minions and fashion accessories.

System

  • New achievements and titles.
  • Limited-time FFXIV 10th anniversary stickers and frames have been added to the group pose function.
  • /reference command added.
  • New trophies for PS5.
  • New music and sound effects.

Resolved Issues

  • An issue wherein the bar indicating that a status effect can be removed with Esuna would disappear when targeting a party member.
  • An issue in the island sanctuary wherein earnings from the sale of handicrafts at the workshop could not be received.

Known Issues

  • An issue in the sidequest “Not from Around Here” wherein the incorrect BGM will play after certain cutscenes end.
  • An issue in the 6.45 sidequest cutscenes wherein certain graphics do not display properly.
  • An issue in the Heroes’ Gauntlet wherein certain graphics do not display properly.
  • An issue in the Mount Rokkon variant dungeon wherein certain graphics do not display properly.
  • An issue in the gathering log wherein the splendorous tools list does not display in the correct order.
  • An issue in the Another Mount Rokkon (Savage) criterion dungeon wherein timer-based enemy enhancement effect is incongruously named “Sewer-dweller.”

As you can see, this Final Fantasy 14 update 6.45 has done much according to its patch notes. There are several side quests players can do and even a new difficult dungeon that many have been waiting for. As always, you can grab your friends or go alone to experience any content in this game. So, get ready to explore the world of Eorzea again with this new update.
