Nowadays, all big video game publishers create multiple editions of the same game, each containing different items for the fans to buy. Depending on how much a person likes that game, they can choose different options. This can be even more confusing if you aren’t familiar with the series. If you aren’t, we have a thorough guide on whether you need to play the previous games of the Final Fantasy series to enjoy FF16 or not. Or you can go to the White Tower in London to see the real replicant of Clive’s Sword. Here is the deluxe vs. standard edition of Final Fantasy 16 and all their differences.

Final Fantasy 16 is finally here, and it seems fans and critics love the story and action sequences of the game so far. While some gamers may have already bought or pre-ordered the game, many players would like to wait and consider all the deals available. So, let’s dive into each edition of Final Fantasy 16 to learn which would suit you best.

There are four different editions of Final Fantasy 16. There is the Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, Physical Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition. Each edition contains certain real-world or digital items that players could use.

Standard Edition vs. Deluxe Edition of Final Fantasy 16

If you buy the standard edition of FF16, you will only get the main game and nothing else. However, if you have pre-ordered the game, you will get the Cait Weapon Charm and Braveheart sword. Otherwise, there is nothing else in the standard edition.

In the case of Deluxe Editions, there are two versions, each having different content. The Physical Deluxe Edition comes with a copy of the game and a fantastic Steelbook. You will also get a neatly detailed map of Valisthea, the world the game is taking place in. You will also get all the pre-order bonuses as well.

The Digital Deluxe Edition of the game has a different content, however. With this version, you will get Scholar’s Spectacles, an EXP Boost Accessory in the game. Along with it, you will also get the Digital Mini Artbook and also the Digital Mini Soundtrack. And you will get all the pre-order bonuses as well. Both physical and digital Deluxe editions of the game will cost you $99.99.

Deluxe Edition vs. Collector’s Edition of FF16

The Collector’s Editions is the best of them all. You will get everything from the Deluxe Edition, pre-order bonuses, and a Premium Statue and Metal Eikon Pin Collection. You will also get the rare Blood Sword in the game if you purchase the Collector’s Edition. The price of this edition hasn’t been announced yet, but you can expect it in the range of $149 to $199.

Final Fantasy 16 is currently only available on PlayStation 5.
