The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster is set to release in the spring of 2023. With that season just around the corner and no release date in sight, fans are wondering, what’s the deal? If the release date is so soon, why not tell us? Some fans believe that the lack of a release date means that the game may be delayed, but that doesn’t halt the fact that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster pre-order is still going through. Many who pre-ordered the game are getting charged, which means the game really is on its way.
Many fans are reporting in that they’re getting emails about charges coming soon for their pre-order purchase. The masses, in response, are reaching out to Square Enix on social media with a collective question: The game is releasing in spring this year, right? Users are sharing an email from Square Enix, which had this to say about the recent developments of the game:
“We’re not quite ready to reveal the launch date for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series on console, (currently listed tentatively for May 31st) but we can tell you it’s fast approaching.”
When Will The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Release?
While the answer is elusive, the question remains. Will it actually be soon? Will the release date be moved around? Those on PS4 have given the note that the estimated release date for that console is listed as the 20th of May. As far as official, concrete statements are concerned from Square Enix itself, they’re remaining sealed about the entire issue. Pre-orders that dropped in the middle of the night for North Americans and very early for Europeans already sold out, versions other than the Standard edition going even quicker. While there have been a few restocks, they weren’t offered with any prior warning or announcement, so for those trying to secure a copy, getting it was tough going.
