This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Among the new content introduced in Patch 6.2 is the Wondrous Lanner, a bird Mount inย Final Fantasy XIVย obtainable by acquiring its whistle. This stunning ride is characterized by bright, mint-colored plumage on its wings, a purplish-brown beak, and golden metallic armor. While it might seem odd to release another Mount of the pastย collection fromย Heavensward, it does make sense as a new Unreal Trial has been introduced in the update โ€” Containment Bay S1T7, featuring Sephirot the Fiend. Regardless, adventurers seeking to unlock the new Wondrous Lanner Whistle inย Final Fantasy XIVย have three primary options.

The first method of acquiring the Wondrous Lannerย Whistle inย Final Fantasy XIVย is through the Market Board. Depending on the server, it can typically be purchased for approximately 9 million Gil. Naturally, this is an incredibly steep price for casual players, but those who regularly engage in end-game content will likely have more than enough to procure this Mount.

According toย Final Fantasy XIVย content creator Meoni, players can unlock the Wondrous Lanner Whistle through the in-game methods below:
