Turtle Rock Studios is ready to launch its first expansion for Back 4 Blood with a variety of new content. The expansion, known as Tunnels of Terrors, brings our heroic Cleaners to the underground to battle newer enemies. But with the introduction of two new Cleaners and several different weapons, there’ll be plenty to see. Back 4 Blood – Tunnels of Terror is set to launch on April 12.

Experience Evolved Horror within the Tunnels of Terror

Some of the Ridden have been hiding away in the shadows, right beneath our feet. And now the has come for the Cleaners to deal with them altogether. The team is going to need some extra muscle. Thus enter Sharice and Heng, the two newest additions to the Cleaner squad. Sharice used to be a firefighter, and she uses an ax to extinguish the fires of the Ridden. Heng is more peculiar, and he possesses sensory abilities that allow him to see through walls for hive entrances and gear.

The trailer for Tunnels of Terror shows these characters in action while going up against Warped Ridden variants underneath Evansburgh. While we do have a glimpse of some of the new weapons to wield, the variants take center stage for the second half of the footage. Among these Warped Ridden foes are the Urchin, Shredder, and the Ripper. Evidently, these enemies bring new challenges to the table, and they can also be utilized in the PvP Swarm Mode. Be sure to check out the trailer for all of these characters in action.

Back 4 Blood – Expansion 1: Tunnels of Terror will be dropping onto the Ridden scene next week on April 12. Players who own the Ultimate, Deluxe, and Annual Pass will have instant access the moment the expansion launches. And are you ready to dive back into the world of Back 4 Blood? Which part of the Tunnels of Terror DLC trailer are you looking forward to trying out? Let us know in the comments!
