The first trailer for the next installment of The Dark Pictures Anthology, Little Hope, is here, and it is spooky! Little Hope takes place in a town of the same name with a dark and twisted history shadowed by horrific witch trials and their lasting effects. Even in the modern era, the sins and horrors of the past can still take their toll.

Per usual, the trailer is led by The Curator, voiced by Pip Torrens, as he explains the occult-steeped past within Little Hope. However, the often helpful Curator isn’t the only familiar face in the trailer. Will Poulter (Midsommar, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch) represents one of the new characters in this new Dark Pictures. Check out the trailer below to check out all the details!

According to the devs:

In Little Hope, abandoned and all alone, four college students and their professor are trapped by a mysterious fog in the isolated eponym town. They search desperately for a means of escape while visions from the town’s occult-steeped past haunt them from the shadows. In order to stay alive, they must uncover the mysteries behind these relentlessly-pursuing dark apparitions before evil forces drag each of their souls to hell!

Like Man of Medan, Little Hope can be enjoyed on your own or with a group of friends by utilizing the Movie Night or Shared Story modes. As always, different endings and branching storylines lend a high re-playability factor to this horror franchise.

The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is set to release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One sometime this summer. The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan released last summer to high praise and much-deserved love from the horror community. At the time of this writing, Man of Medan is on sale for $14.99 in PlayStation’s Spring Sale.
