When it comes to creating things, everything goes as long as it is helpful. However, there are times when some creations are true eyebrow-raisers and shouldn’t even be out there. Such is the case of a recent advertisement in Florida showcasing what’s called “The Ultimate Tailgate Machine.” Whether it is a joke or not, the design is more than questionable, and even if it is for tailgating purposes, it doesn’t seem too helpful. Yet, there might be a few people interested in this invention.
Reddit user rambeazy shared a picture of the “Ultimate Tailgate Machine” on the Florida subreddit. As you can see by the not-so-groundbreaking design, it is a toilet fused with what seem to be parts of a lawnmower and a handle. Furthermore, if you look closely, there seems to be an engine of sorts at the back of the toilet, which makes us think it is able to move around.
Right off the bat, you can already see what’s wrong with the design, or so we hope. First, having a toilet around doesn’t seem great if it is for a tailgate event. Second, the machine’s overall build doesn’t seem sturdy. If someone were to take it to the streets, it might not last long.
As you can expect, many Redditors had hilarious reactions to this, hopefully, fake Facebook ad.
“Florida Man soon to strike again!” – Armorer via Reddit.
“Not bad. Attach a cooler and a sunshade, and it’s the perfect vehicle.” – winterbird via Reddit.
While many are taking this as a joke ad, if this “Ultimate Tailgate Machine” does exist in Florida, asking $500 is too much. We’ve already mentioned the questionable design choices, and with that in mind, the price is outrageous.
Yet, if it is a joke, it is a good one. No one would expect someone to roll into a tailgate event while driving this. Then again, we’ve seen wilder things in Florida, so anything could happen.
