A Florida man posted a video on TikTok alleging he figured out what was wrong with MAGA. He claims the answer comes down to stupidity. That no matter how many times something is explained, they will not understand it.
The video is the Florida man’s response to a clip of an interview with an alleged MAGA supporter. In this clip, the man is asked, “So you don’t have a problem with gay people at all? As long as they are doing it in the privacy of their own home.” The man responds by saying he has friends who are gay. When asked what he would do if he were told he couldn’t practice Christianity outside his home, he says, “I would fight that.” The video has received over 43,000 views since posting, with over 6,000 likes.
The Florida man’s answer to this is: “The problem is these people are just stupid.” To him, he believes that even if they are presented with a story that has facts, they are unable to see that perspective. He claims, “It’s like trying to teach a toddler math, and you tell them two plus two equals four.” It has nothing to do with four not being correct, but that the toddler can’t “see it being true.” The Florida man feels that eventually the toddler will understand after having it repeated. However, this contrasts with MAGA, who he claims won’t get it because “they’re stupid.” This stems from being unable to put themselves in another’s shoes. The man ends the video saying, “I don’t know what’s closer. Us to Pluto or them to understanding.”
Many Agree With Florida Man’s Opinion
Many agree with the Florida man’s statements, with some referring to him as “brilliant.” One commented on the TikTok video, “Empathy is a form of intelligence- emotional intelligence, so you’re not wrong.” Another commenter shares an interesting approach to talking to people. They say, “Before I go back & forth with anyone on politics, I ask them how many senators the US has.” This suggestion is something the man commented on by saying he was going to steal it.
However, some feel that he should have already figured that out. One claims they have “been saying this the most.” Another asks him, “You just realized that?” However, a few have an answer to his question, with one saying, “We’re closer to Pluto.”
The Florida man posts videos on a regular basis. His latest videos are focusing on politics and the economy.
