A woman from Florida is now starting to regret whom she voted for as President and state governor because now, her friend got nabbed by ICE and is suffering in a Miami detention center. But despite all her regrets and her admission that the Democrats and Liberals might have been right, it appears the Florida woman will continue to support Republican candidates.
This rant and confused stance came from a Florida local known by her Facebook name, Twazz Alla. Alla posted back on June 22 about her complaints and worries regarding the state of Florida and the US as a whole; she’s fully aware that she voted for Trump thrice, knowing his aggressive policies towards immigrants. Still, this didn’t stop her friend, Edward Lee Martin Stinton from getting detained by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
Unfortunately for Stinton, ICE doesn’t let him take a shower, lets him sleep on the floor, and hasn’t given him clean clothes ever since he got detained in Krome Detention Center in Miami on June 12. Stinton’s predicament with ICE has led Twazz Alla to regret her vote and has since helped her set up a petition for her friend.
Alla’s stance on the matter– maintaining her Republican affiliation, remains, despite admitting that Democrats and Liberals were right about the issues with ICE. Here’s a screenshot of the post since Alla’s FB account is private::

It’s not clear why ICE arrested and detained Alla’s friend, Stinton, since according to the petition, he has been rooted in Key West, Florida for over six years, has no criminal record, and pays his taxes.
Maybe 4th Time’s the Charm?
Given how Twazz Alla has voted for Donald Trump thrice already, she likely won’t change political parties in the next election. Such a viewpoint was promptly mocked by people online, especially those who are critical of ICE and Trump’s immigration policies. Some have argued that Twazz Alla’s logic doesn’t make sense since she contributed to the problem that led to her friend being unjustly detained.
Others are stumped about what exactly Alla wants Democrats to do since the Florida woman keeps voting for Republicans. At the moment, Lee Stinton is still detained in Miami and those who have read Alla’s post on Facebook are hoping that Stinton didn’t vote for Trump or that if by some chance he did, he hopefully will have a change of heart in the next election seeing as Trump’s policies got him detained.
